DESCRIPTION

Diclogesic Gel 30Gm is a non-sedative painkiller, belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID). It is primarily taken for reducing pain and inflammation. Pain is an unpleasant sensation and emotional experience that is associated with the damage to tissue. It allows the body to react and prevent further tissue damage. Pain can be for short term (acute) or for long term (chronic). Perception of pain can differ from person to person where from tolerable to non-tolerable.

Diclogesic Gel 30Gm is used to treat aches and pains, along with problems of musculoskeletal and joint pain. It is helpful in the conditions of acute migraine headache, muscle pain, dental pain, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis or painful menses. Diclogesic Gel 30Gm works by blocking the chemical effect of an enzyme called cyclo-oxygenase (COX) which produces prostaglandins (mediators of pain and inflammation) which are responsible for the sense of pain and inflammation produced at the sites of injury and damage.

Diclogesic Gel 30Gm should be swallowed whole with liquid, preferably after meals as food helps to prevent any potential gastric irritation the drug might cause when taken empty stomach. Diclogesic Gel 30Gm is generally safe to consume. Some may experience stomach pain, heartburn, nausea (feeling sick), vomiting (being sick), diarrhoea, indigestion, loss of appetite, headache, and dizziness. Directions for Use

Take Diclogesic Gel 30Gm with a glass of water during or after the meal to avoid stomach upset or irritation. Do not chew, break, or split it. If Diclogesic Gel 30Gm is in topical gel form, you should wash your hand and then apply dry on the painful or swollen area. In case of suppository gently push it into your back passage (anus) with the pointed end first. It should go at least 1 inch into your anus. After insertion of suppository lie down for at least 15 minutes for better results.
